The wind is Nature's artist in the sky
A tiny propeller plane wants to be in the picture
A flock of cloud sheep seeking their shepherd
The mountains stare up in wonder as they contemplate the snowy valleys and peaks
Late afternoon fluffiness with a touch of pink
as shapes come and go and transform before our eyes.
How nice to be a tree
and forever admire the changing sky.
The tree tops pull our gaze above
lest we forget
how to really see...
Great photos of the sky. It's nice to see it blue again!

Lovely sky pictures Sandra.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
Awesome pictures Sandra!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I just love cloud pictures, and I love watching the cloud shapes progress... Sometimes it's so subtle and hardly noticeable and other times it's amazing how fast they change!
ReplyDeleteI love each and every one of these photos - really beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this beauty with us! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have made a lovely story about the cloud formations, each one different. I think my favorite one is about the sheep, and those clouds look like the wooly curls on a sheep. Your poetry verses are worthy to be written in a book, as an accompaniment to your photography book for a coffee table. :)
ReplyDeleteSandra, these are so amazing! The colors of blue and white are so soothing! You've inspired me! I'm taking sky/cloud photos during the month of August, but I'll admit I've not seen any as gorgeous as these!!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely images -- I especially like the late afternoon light. Changing sky indeed -- you are so lucky that you have clouds....we almost never see any during the summer.
ReplyDeleteI love to imagine images of all kinds in the beautiful cloud formations. Well captured and so well seen, Sandra!

I am sorry that I have not been around for the last while. but I have my Mum staying with me at the moment and feel guilty if I don't give her my time and so haven't been on the computer much.
Hope all is well with you.
I will have so much catching up to do
when Mum goes home that it will take me until Christmas
to get through all the posts I have missed!
Have a lovely weekend.
