When the rising sun comes out to play
a simple path becomes a painting
where sky and trees intermingle with sunlit metal
and tall shadows point the way
as we linger and gaze
to see the ever-changing beauty beneath our feet
and follow the golden path
to lead us where it may.
Very nice photographed Sandra.....pictures have lovely colors and reflections.
ReplyDeleteWish you a nice wednesday
Greetings, Joop
The story illustrates your photographs so beautifully.....
ReplyDeleteWell, Sandra, you did make a simple path a painting. Lovely colors and interesting lines with this creative POV. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous, and most definitely painted with your lens!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections and shadows! Love the colors as well! The first is my favorite, and I love the curve in the last!

What gorgeously soft and rich colours - and such wonderful reflections. That first photo had me completely baffled until I looked at the next and could see it in context! :)
ReplyDeleteYour header is so lovely - I could hear the splash and feel the cool rush of water just looking at it.
Sandra, Both words and photos are poetic. I see a heart puddle in the last photo. Seeing through your eyes and camera is a calming experience.
ReplyDeletePerfect reflections of such a beautiful puddle of water! That sky is amazingly blue! Well done, with just the perfect words, too!
ReplyDeleteYou have chosen such interesting perspectives here, Sandra.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done!
I do love your photography Sandra! - I can hardly manage one end of camera from the other - so you give me inspiration!

Your work fascinates. I love all these iterations.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra ~ it looks like you've been out and about with your camera and creative eye. Well done! I like how the color and angles come together in these.
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying the last sunny days of the season:)
Love the perspectives and reflections! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting shadows and I love the sharp reflection. Combined with the simplicity of the colour scheme, it makes for some great abstracts. Very well observed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light, and suddenly it doesn't look like summer any more! Great shots as always Sandra :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures, very abstract. xx
ReplyDeleteI love this whole series, Sandra. What a great example of seeing and following the light.
ReplyDeleteYou are a talented writer and photographer, my dear. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery sharp reflections would frighten me to death if I looked into them...like being up high fear of heights.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures though as always
Hugs x
