Good item to photograph....the light and shadow is very nice Sandra..... compliments.
ReplyDeletegreetings and i wish you a wonderful day, Joop
It is beautiful... I love your pictures :)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Sandra!
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra, these are stunning - so contemplative. You are right, the light is always there for us to see.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your dancing with light, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty images of light coming through the curtains! Now I'm wishing for curtains in my new house. All the window coverings are fancy shades that open and close like blinds -- not the same effect as sheers.
ReplyDeleteThese images took my breath away! Simply beautiful light and shadows! I'm like Gina, I want some sheers now!
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty!! Your pretty lacy curtain has made me want to crochet something lacy!!

Sandra ~ very creative and inspired "seeing"! The patterns that are revealed are surprising. I always love when beauty or uniqueness is found within our everyday surroundings. That is often more difficult to "see" than the low hanging fruit of say, a stunning sunset or classic view.
ReplyDeleteMorning....just wonderful photographs, love the shadows and reflections. Some great observations.

Lovely post, as ever.

How beautiful!!! This is so lovely and charming - the way you caught the light. I can see and feel the light waving of the curtains (do you call these curtains?) in the soft breeze.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous light and shadow play here. These little things can so often lift our spirits if we take the time to truly notice them. Have a great weekend Sandra!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful - what a wonderful way to start the day - is this what they call the "golden hour?" - lovely!

Gorgeous images as always, and I love the sentiment too :)
ReplyDeleteAn extraordinary series of images and accompanying insights, Sandra. They really spoke to me, as I often find myself staring at the play of the light on my curtains too -- and just overjoyed at how the light and shadows dance....
ReplyDeleteSandra, how lovely to see your take on the morning light! I love the shadow shapes and the reflections and the glimpse of the flowers outside.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra! Your photography really captures the beauty of shades in play. The fact you have chosen traditional Swiss lace curtains just makes it even more pretty. I love my lace curtains. It is something very comfortable and warming with lace curtains...
ReplyDeleteI received so many comments on today's post but as I was at work I couldn't publish any until I got home. I think that is why you couldn't find yours. I have both of your comments now. :D
This step on making a payable pattern of the Gypsy blanket has been one cooking inside me for a while. People have asked for it. Still to me it is "only" a granny square blanket, but when I respond with that people just reply again asking for a pattern. So why not give it a try, I thought. Including tutorials that already are available but not in a printer friendly version. I have already sold half a dozen. I guess the demand is out there. Now I am preparing my shawl pattern. :D This is fun.
I am back into school routines and it feels good. Today I am feeling a bit under the water... Will probably go o bed early. Had soup for dinner. I hope a good nights sleep will shake my dizzy head, aching body and loss of appetite... I am tempted to start on a pair of leg warmers in autumn colors... We'll see if I can keep my eyes open. :D
All the best Sandra
