Looking beyond

A flower is so much more than a flower

every detail  amazes us.

And each new bud

unfolds

to reveal the very essence of life

and delicate petals allow the light to reach us.

  13. Oh Sandra these are so lovely and I agree with your feelings on flowers. When you get right inside of them it is just like another world in there. :)
Regarding your question on my post about Karen's cakes - she would love to have a cake shop - it is one of her ambitions. When she makes her cakes you can hardly move in my kitchen and dining room - cakes everywhere, lol.

  14. Beautiful macros, Sandra! I like how your images toy with an abstract view and reality at the same time. Macro photography is perfect for that and flowers are such a wonderful subject!
