I can never resist the unfolding of the leaves each spring.
The way nature wakes up from her long slumber
and teaches me about new beginnings
year after year.
After the toughest winter
all is renewed
and so may we renew ourselves
when times have been tough.
Let the light come in
to lead the way.
Thanks to the darkness
I may see the light.
Very nice leaves Sandra....you have made a lot of good pictures.
ReplyDeleteWish you a nice day.

Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI, too, love spring and it's new beginnings! Your selective focus, composition, DOF, and light in each of these images is super! My favorite is the third capture for it's light, color, and mood. Wonderful piece!
Hope you're having a great day. Ms Spring is handing us a dozy today, with high winds, rain, and snow flakes. What the heck?!
Missed an O there. It's a doozy of a day :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful these are Sandra!
ReplyDeleteThe detail you have captured in the first one is really amazing.
You can see each fold in those little leaves, and that is wonderful!
Wishing you a beautiful day!
Lovely captures of the light on those delicate leaves!I love the spider web in the last one -- beautiful lines and focus. Yes, we really can't appreciate spring until we've been through winter, it's the yin and yang of life. Another wonderful post, Sandra!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful and thoughtful post, Sandra. I especially love that first one, with the accordion leaves. Hope you had a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely Sandra - I love those leaves they look amazing. I think your last shot is the best - I love the light you have caught on those leaves. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteThese new leaves are just wonderful, with their accordion folds. I especially like your out of focus in the first photo, it's so creamy and smooth. Your words are so uplifting, and makes one feel appreciative that there was a long winter, and now we've all made it through that, and it's time to enjoy spring. Your pictures look like you are enjoying your spring.
Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteYou mange to make new leaves look beautiful. I like how your leaves are so crisp and the backgrounds so soft and blurry. It wasn't that long ago we were chatting about those cold March winds !! Happy Spring and Happy Friday!
Spring is a wonderful time as your pictures shows
ReplyDeleteRegards
Mariann
