Magnificent Magnolia

Right into the heart of this noble flower

but first the bud 

which opens up its petals

unfolding beauty

in different shades of tender pink

revealing all

against the blue of a late March sky.

    These are incredibly gorgeous, Sandra! The delicate pink against the blue of the sky is such a lovely color harmony. Hard to believe you have flowers blooming......we're having a late spring snow storm today. Pretty crazy, don't you think?!

    I think i have only seen these in creamy white with a strong scent
