Watery Moods

Green and blue intermingle
to set the mood
for our watery meanderings.

Soft curves and tiny wavelets break the surface.

Ribbons of different colours and texture
ever-changing and forever fascinating.

Such suppleness in movement

the art of non-resistance

and complete adaptation to the circumstances around us.

  2. Pure bliss. I grew up at the coast in Northern Norway, sa w the midnight sun every summer, the total darkness at wintertime. Saw the Northern Lights wave at us from the sky in winter time. Nothing suthes my soal as much as the ocean, bliss.

  4. Beautiful! I love the go with the flow philosophy we can learn from the water! Isn't there also some saying about how water takes on the shape of whatever container it is in?

  6. Your 'watery mood' says it all, a matter of adapting to our circumstances...learning the 'art of non-resistance' this must be one of the most difficult to learn!

  21. Gorgeous images! I need to make a trip to the ocean for some peaceful sitting; it has been some time and nothing soothes and refreshes like water...well, mountains do that too but differently.
