Dark chocolate contains flavonoids which have an antioxydant effect. The Phenylethylamine (PEA) enhances attention span and other brain functions. Chocolate is said to lower blood pressure, increase the HDL (good cholesterol).
Most recently, British researchers reporting finding that people get more of a buzz from eating chocolate than from a passionate kiss!
I'm not sure what that says about the powers of seduction of the British! Hmmmm! Am I believing my thoughts?
So finally, if you like chocolate, then eat it! The benefits are obtained only from dark chocolate (70% cocoa or more). A daily portion of 25 grams (1oz) a day seems reasonable and pleasurable. Might I say: Present moment perfection?
