Hi Zinnia, what a beautiful flower. Sadly when I plant pansies, they are eaten by the deer. You are very lucky to live in Switzerland. It is one of my favourite countries in the whole world - such majestic scenery.Jenny
Hello Jenny, yes pansies are one of my favourites at this time of the year... don't you think that the fairies paint them when we are asleep?!How amazing that deer eat pansies, I guess they don't have adverse effects like buttercups do to cattle.
This pansy certainly looks as if it has been painted!Sadly the deer eat virtually everything, so it is impossible for me to grow pretty things. They do not, however, eat bluebells!
That's lucky for the bluebells - and also for you to be able to enjoy them!:)
