Impressions

Mysterious and enticing
We are drawn into a world of muted colours

Soft, dreamlike shapes take form

Like folds of flowing satin

Could there be a pearl hidden within?

So many frills and curves

in a beautiful Amaryllis

  1. So good to see you post with such lovely abstracts Sandra. I wish I had taken some images of my Amaryllis when it bloomed last month and also wish I had gotten another bulb for blooming this month. Next year I will. Such a pretty color and looks like the color I had in Dec. All are really lovely, and those last two are truly wonderful and would look great on a wall really large print.

  2. Hi Sandra, I agree with Barbara these are so lovely and would make gorgeous prints. I have an Amaryllis that a friend gave me that is just getting ready to bloom and I am very excited to be able to photograph it in all it's glory. It's red so I image it will be gorgeous.

  9. You make me excited for mine to bloom! I like the soft pink coloring of yours. It reminds me of spring. I also have a narcissus bulb that is steadily growing. I like to think of them blooming with the snow still falling outside.
