Magnolia

The blue skies of  May and Magnolia blooms

Poised with elegant beauty

Sun-kissed

Surrender to the sky

Elegantly nonchalant

In the language of flowers:
The Magnolia is associated with beauty and perseverance
and also with nobility and dignity.

  2. Hello dear Sandra.
The Magnolia tree is my most favorite of all blossoming trees.
Unfortunately .. here where I live, It will not grow.. the climate is far too hot in the summer .
They grow better in the north of Portugal.
These are such magnificent photos Sandra.
thank you for sharing them... they make me happy
    wishing you a good weekend.

  10. These are so gorgeous - I've never seen such a deep pink one. Around the corner from us is a magnolia simply covered in pale pink blossoms - it's glorious.

In California, where I grew up, Magnolia was a different thing altogether. A very tall flowering tree, with large dark shiny leaves and scented, creamy blossoms that reminded me a tiny bit of gardenia (not the smell but the shape).

    Happy May! :)
