The Sunshine Flower

Who can resist the golden curves

and radiating yellow energy?

Filling the frame

with gorgeousness.

Orange trumpets play to a lemon sky

A single bloom against the light

bringing some sunshine into our homes

in a vase

 for our delight.

Daffodils
whose botanical name is Narcissus
symbolize rebirth and new beginnings.
They are the sign of winter's end
and also symbolize friendship.

    1. I love that vase too, Cathy. It's quite old and I bought it about 20 years ago when on holiday in the French Provence at a flea market!

  11. Beautiful sunshine filling up those dark corners of the our homes. I am going off to look at the daffodil fields that surround my village tomorrow to see if I can get some photos (as long as the real sun is shining!). Have a wonderful evening xx
