Choose the colours you like
for the texture you want to create
See the pattern appear
as your crochet hook works its magic
to create ocean waves ...
and suddenly
you have a flower
which unravels
into a scarf.
Make some wrist-warmers to match
Add a flower
Make another scarf
with a different yarn
and another stitch.
and you're all set for winter
Come wind or snow!
It is normal courtesy to show you where I got my patterns and inspiration!

Hello Sandra. Thanks so much for your lovely message. What gorgeous colours you've chosen - pink and turquoise is my favourite combination. I'm so pleased you found the wrist warmer pattern easy to follow - it's the one I fret over most as I got into a slight pickle writing it for some strange reason! I do love that circular scarf, I bet it sits really nicely around your shoulders. Uh oh, I feel another project coming on!!! Heather (pink milk) x

ReplyDeleteSandra ~ love the delicious blend of colors! The warm and cool threads together set up color vibration like an Impressionist painter would use. The scalloped scarf is my fav. Looks like you'll be well dressed :)

ReplyDeleteI love to see your crochet! It's gorgeous. So fun to play with scarves, isn't it? I like rolling them up into flowers too. :)
