Between Sunrise and Sunset

The fisherman chooses the best spot to witness the sunrise
I love this moment full of suspense and waiting when the colours
start to fill the sky and create gorgeous reflections in the lake.

Here comes the sun
Spreading a golden glow everywhere.

Pulling back to see the lovely clouds in the sky.

After the sunrise, the lakeside flowers come into their own
Rejoicing all who pass them by.

Another Hibiscus
in more delicate tones

Rudbeckia
Sunshine flowers

A cloudy sunset

The swan family makes its way home

The water's surface takes on new colours and patterns

and little boats return to port.

    1. Thank you, Sarah. Yes, sunsets and sunrises can be so beautiful and indeed magical. The added bonus of the mountains and water seems to add a special beauty to it all.

    1. Thank you, Cathy. All the gorgeous flowers in my new header were captured in my neighbourhood and they all begin with an 'S': Sunflower, Shasta Daisy and Scabiosa! The collage felt just right for the month of August when all these flowers are in bloom! Sunrise is my favourite time of the day at this time of the year and I love being out just before it happens to watch the sky slowly light up in the silence of the early morning and enjoy the gorgeous fresh temperatures!
