So good to see you post with such lovely abstracts Sandra. I wish I had taken some images of my Amaryllis when it bloomed last month and also wish I had gotten another bulb for blooming this month. Next year I will. Such a pretty color and looks like the color I had in Dec. All are really lovely, and those last two are truly wonderful and would look great on a wall really large print.
Thank you, Barbara. After the pink Amaryllis, I now have a deep red one blooming eight beautiful flowers. They do give such pleasure during our winter months!
Hi Sandra, I agree with Barbara these are so lovely and would make gorgeous prints. I have an Amaryllis that a friend gave me that is just getting ready to bloom and I am very excited to be able to photograph it in all it's glory. It's red so I image it will be gorgeous.
Amaryllis are beautiful plants and I tend to get one or two each winter for them to bloom at different times.
This flower reflects so much of you..the soft pinks and greens with that soft white. A wonderful post.
Thanks Mary. It's true that I do love soft, harmonious colours very much. I guess we are reflected in our images as you have mentioned!
From one lover of colour harmonies to another! Thanks, Sarn!
So pretty Sandra! I just love pink and green together! My grandmother and I are watching an amaryllis grow right now!Kate :}
You and your grandmother will so enjoy watching that amaryllis grow!
Soft and very beautiful ;-))!
Thank you, Lasse!
Really lovely thoughts and imagery. Warm greetings!
Thank you for your words and your greetings!
Wonderful series of photographs, Sandra, and what a beautiful color that amaryllis is!
Thanks, Lisa. Amaryllis do come in the most beautiful shades, don't they?
You make me excited for mine to bloom! I like the soft pink coloring of yours. It reminds me of spring. I also have a narcissus bulb that is steadily growing. I like to think of them blooming with the snow still falling outside.
I agree Barb, that these pale pink and white blooms are lovely, right now I have a deep red one in full bloom with a new flower stalk growing!
That is such a gorgeous amaryllis -- and you know just how to photograph it to bring out the beauty and help us meditate on the beauty of all things.
Thank you, Sherry. It's true that I love to photograph flowers in all their details!
This is your signature style, Sandra. So dreamy and lovely! The colors are gorgeous and the lines so intriguing.
So nice of you to say so, Gina! It's true that I do love dreamy captures and details of colours and line!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the softness and light. They seem to be flowing, soothing, calming! I'm sorry I'm so late in commenting. Somehow I missed this post! So glad I found it!
Flower shots are rather good in getting that soft, flowing look, especially with a soft focus!
What luscious colours and impressions Sandra. Your love and attention for these flowers shines through your photographs.
Thank you, Kim. Each curve of this bloom drew me in so wonderfully that really felt as if I had melted right into the flower itself!
A dreamy colorscape! Lovely
