Swirling into October!

Turbulences ahead
The wind doth blow...

Colours cascade down in vibrating shades

As delicate as feathers
from an exotic bird

Each capture is never quite the same
as the one before

The shapes change
and
do I see a hint of stalks?

A touch of green ...
Could this be nature's paintbrush?

Or abstract art?

A little of both, says she, holding the camera!

How can that be?
A very slow shutter speed, from 0.3 - 1.30s
The settings on MF (manual focus)
and lots of fun panning
(deliberate camera movement)
and
the inspirational stars of the show:
Autum leaves.

  5. Fun! The second to last gave me a literal hint. But, mostly I'm enjoying the swirl of autumn colors.

  6. Sandra, I love these! The colours are enchanting and perfectly capture this time of year. Yes, just as you say, each is a little different and creates its own work of art. (I especially like the painterly feel of the third one, it belongs on a wall.) You have a talent for abstract photography and I hope you continue to explore it.

I know they are leaves, but the swirled together colors remind me of a beautiful sunrise.

  18. Very striking images, Sandra! Looks like the world as seen in a fantastic dream. My favs are the vortex of the first image and the subtle collage-like shapes in the sixth one. Thanks for passing on the technical info!
Hope your week is wonderful :)
P.S. Now that our company is all gone, I will write soon.
