Creative Moments in September

Flowing with the seasons,
it was the right moment
to create my autumn wreath in warm colours!

First of all, cover a Styrofoam wreath in the colour of my choice.
The wreath measures 20cm
I used two strands of yarn: one pink, one orange.

Make some beautiful and colourful roses to go with the base.
These are from a lovely pattern by Astri.
Here is a link to Astri's Rose

A few leaves in different shades of green.
I get a lot of my patterns, like this one, from
"100 Flowers to Knit & and Crochet"
by Lesley Stanfield.

Add a bow to give it some chic

Now my wreath decorates my front door
so that those who visit me may feel welcome!
All the leftover roses are waiting for a new project. Their cheerful colours make me happy!

Don't you think the longer evenings are perfect
for creating the things we love to make?
