Lavender Blue

"Lavender's blue, dilly dilly
Lavender's green,

When I am king, dilly dilly,
You shall be queen.

Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so."

"Lavender Blue", an English folk song and Nursery Rhyme
dating back to the seventeenth century.

  5. Sandra this post is awesome! Thank you for sharing these GORGEOUS lavender photos. Beautiful in all ways! That song is one I used to sing when I swang in our tree swing - about 3rd grade. And also the name for my own blog. These photos would make a beautiful collage on a wall. They are truly lovely!!!
