Just taking a break

With a pot of peppermint tea
and some free time
to enjoy
a little creative hooking!

my favourite stork scissors
to cut off loose ends
and the feel of soft yarn under my fingers

I've crocheted a heart
just for you
until we meet again!

For crochet lovers, you can find the pattern for this heart:

    1. Yes, reverse single crochet around the edge, sometimes called crab stitch! Thanks for your visit here and especially for the lovely heart pattern!

  4. Just have to say I LOVE your teapot - so lovely!!!
Your crochet looks lovely too - that is something I have never managed to do. I've done some knitting but could never master the crochet.
I hope you have a nice break and look forward to when you come back. Take care!! :)

  6. Hi Sandra,

    I love your photos today.

    I want your teapot,
    your stork scissors
and your wonderful wonderful crochet mat.

I would love to have some of your talent
    but it skipped me.....

    Have a great week

  7. Sandra, these photos are simply so calming, and I just LOVE those scissors! :-)
I cannot tell you the number of times I have tried to teach myself to crochet.
Just seem to have some sort of brain block with it, as I end up with more knots than I can count!!
You have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
    xo.

  16. Ooooo purple and yellow! One of my favourite colour combinations. The crab stitch edging really enhances this immaculate heart.
